Plug it up, Carrie!

nice dirty pillows.

Holy smokes, you chaps really seemed to like that haircut stuff! Well, maybe not really liked. But more people 'liked' it than normal. According to the stats, a lot of people in Trinidad and Tobago read it. Are haircuts a big deal out there? Actually I don't know much at all about Trinidad and Tobago. I'll have to learn some facts. I'm very happy that you Trinidadians and Tobagons check it out though!

So yeah, thanks all for the nice response! I also see I have another follower now, bringing me up to a massive 16.

This isn't exactly a 'real' post, I just wanted to say thanks for digging my shit, and also to plug a couple of things I've done recently (hence the Carrie). First of all, I wrote a review of the Rubberbandits gig at Stiff Kitten for Culture NI. You can read that here.

Also, last week's Introducing in NI is now on the BBC iPlayer. I'm on it with my Hot Rod of Comedy (a bit where I talk about comedy, natch), along with Marcus Keeley and Ruaidhri Ward. We're having a chat about their new night in the Menagerie (which really is fupping awesome). I was pleased because I got to say a line in the style of Weird Wink Wilkinson (see below), so that was cool. I'm about 27 minutes in, although you should really just treat yourself and listen to the whole thing. Anyway, it's here.

Well, that's about it. A bit of shameless self plugging I know, so to reward you for your patience and kindness, here is a great wee comic strip about my favourite topic, robots becoming sentient.

Also, here's a fun link where you can make your own version of that wank "Barbra Streisand" song.

Oh, if you like what you read here, why not think about clicking 'follow' up to the right there. It doesn't seem to be of much practical use, but I'd really like it if I had 20 followers. I think that would finally make me a happy man.

That's all for now, have a great weekend!

HR

  1. Poor Carrie White. This world was never meant for one so beautiful.

Oh! And well done on all your recent stuff, Mr HR. Enjoyed your review of the Rubberbandits gig on CNI (I still can't believe how certain members of the crowd acted though, thought people were over that sort of shit - colour me so naive).

    Keep up the good work!
